Hey there! For those who don’t know me, which is most of y’all, I wanted to welcome you to my new Web site. It contains everything you need to know about Freedom of Expression®, the book and DVD, along with lots of other related stuff.
If you are concerned about free speech and creativity in this multimedia age -- and how copyright law is being used as a tool of censorship -- you’ve come to the right place.
Earlier in 2007, the University of Minnesota Press published my book Freedom of Expression®: Resistance and Repression in the Age of Intellectual Property, with a foreword by Lawrence Lessig. Later, this October, the Media Education Foundation will release an educational documentary of the same name.
The DVD brings the book to multimedia life; you can think of Freedom of Expression® as a two headed monster, or a twin book/DVD package, or whatever. If you would like to know more about me, check out Kembrew.com, but trust me, I’m not that interesting.
